This should really be an obvious thing to highlight, but it is something I have to say to many, many people when they reach out for behaviour modification and training for their dog.
Have you had your dog checked by your vet?
Like us when dogs are uncomfortable, in pain or distress, they do not have as much patience and may behave in ways they normally would not. Before starting any training program or behaviour modification, it is paramount that we know they are feeling ok and are healthy. If they are healthy and not in any pain, then the work can begin.
