A dog pulling towards a smell, rushing to greet another dog, or trying to move away from something worrying may look like the same problem on the lead. The reasons behind it are very different.

In this seminar, I explain five common pulling patterns and show you how to work out what your dog needs. You’ll see three practical training games, how to set up the start of a walk, and what to do when your dog is too excited or worried to learn. The recording also includes the live demonstrations and Q&A.

The companion workbook helps you put the seminar into practice. It includes a pulling-profile questionnaire, step-by-step instructions for the games, a seven-day starter plan and worksheets to track your walks.

Start with the questionnaire, then practise one game at a time in a quiet place. The aim is a dog who can explore, reconnect with you and walk on a comfortable, loose lead.
