Moving to basic obedience, a paramount requirement for all dogs. But as a solution requires you as an owner to always be on top of what your dog is doing.
Then to behaviour adjustment, building out and shaping your dogs Behaviour so they make the appropriate choice when an event or trigger occurs.
And lastly, conceptual. Actually removing the dogs trigger completely by tackling the root cause of the issue at hand.
All four levels are required to create a comprehensive solution to any issue, whether it be as simple as pulling on the leash, to the complexity of separation anxiety.
