Ditch the struggle & understand the science behind a cooperative walk.
Join IAABC-certified behaviour consultant and dog trainer, Fraser Noble for a science-based look at leash pulling. We explore how emotional state, arousal, and environment impact your walk, moving beyond simple obedience toward a cooperative partnership. Includes a live Q&A session and 72-hour replay access.

Better Walks
Some dogs pull because they are excited. Others are worried, frustrated, distracted or simply repeating behaviour that has worked for them before. If we only focus on tightening the lead or stopping the dog, we may miss what is actually driving the behaviour.
Join Fraser Noble for a practical, science-led seminar exploring why dogs pull and what genuinely helps create calmer, safer and more connected walks.

Better walks begin with better understanding
A successful walk is not defined by forcing a dog into a perfect heel.
It is about helping your dog move through the environment with greater confidence, responsiveness and emotional regulation, while giving you the practical skills to communicate clearly and make safer decisions together.
This seminar will help you look beyond the lead and understand the dog at the other end of it.
What you will learn
During this free 60-minute seminar, Fraser will explain:
-
Why different dogs pull for very different reasons
-
How excitement, fear, frustration and learning history influence walking behaviour
-
How arousal affects your dog’s ability to listen, think and learn outside
-
Why stopping whenever the lead becomes tight may not solve the underlying problem
-
How your movement, timing and reinforcement placement influence the walk
-
Why sniffing and appropriate environmental access can support good training
-
How to build more voluntary attention and connection
-
When group training may be appropriate and when individual support may be safer
-
The foundations needed for calmer, more enjoyable real-world walks
The seminar will include approximately 45 minutes of teaching followed by 15 minutes for selected questions.
This seminar is for you if:
-
Your dog regularly pulls on the lead
-
Your dog becomes highly excited or distracted outside
-
Your dog struggles to focus around people, dogs or the environment
-
Walks feel stressful, frustrating or physically demanding
-
You want to understand your dog’s behaviour rather than simply suppress it
-
You want practical, force-free guidance grounded in modern behavioural science
-
You are preparing for future walking classes or more structured support
You do not need to be an existing Noble Canine client to attend.
This is not another “quick fix” walking lesson
There is no single technique that works for every dog because pulling is not one single behaviour with one single cause.
This seminar will not promote punishment, dominance, leash corrections or forcing dogs into position. Instead, we will look at emotional state, learning history, reinforcement, movement, communication and the environment.
The aim is to help you make better decisions for the dog in front of you.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need to attend live?
No. Everyone who registers will receive access to the seminar replay for 72 hours. Attending live will allow you to submit a question during the session.
Do I need to have my dog with me?
No. This is an online educational seminar for humans. Your dog can relax while you learn.
Can I attend from outside Singapore?
Yes. The seminar is online and open internationally. The live session begins at 9.00 pm Singapore time.
Is this suitable if my dog is reactive or fearful?
Yes, the educational content can help you better understand the factors influencing your dog’s walking behaviour. However, the seminar does not replace an individual behavioural assessment. Dogs with significant fear, aggression or bite histories may require personalised support before joining a physical group class.
Is the seminar really free?
Yes. Registration, the live seminar and the 72-hour replay are all free.
