Project Adore Session

Service Description

Through Project ADORE, adopters will be allowed to own a local mixed-breed dog, also known as Singapore Special, up to 55cm in height in HDB flats. Only one dog is allowed in each residential unit. Adoption process The adopters must also complete a mandatory obedience training programme with their dogs, by an AVS-ACDT dog trainer or an ADORE dog trainer. The ADORE AWG partners will provide post-adoption support should any issues arise after the adoption. ADORE AWG partners: - Action for Singapore Dogs - Causes for Animals (Singapore) - Exclusively Mongrels - MercyLight Singapore - SOSD Singapore - Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Syllabus for Project Adore PART 1 OBEDIENCE - Walking at Heel - Straight line heeling - Left Turn - Right Turn - Right 180 Turn - Sit: Sit calmly at side. - Lie Down; Down position at left side. - Recall - Sit > Stay > Recall (6ft) - Sit & Stay - Sit > Stay > Recall (6ft - 10ft for 30 seconds) - Lie Down & Stay - Down > Stay > Recall (6ft - 10ft for 60 seconds) PART 2 SOCIAL INTERACTION - Walking Through A Crowd - Walk around and pass close to several people politely and calmly. - Reaction To Other Dogs - Handlers & dogs approach from 20ft, stop, talk, and continue on for about 10ft. - Different household Different sized dogs - Reaction To Distractions - Show a lack of reaction to two distracting situations (ie. bicycle, jogger, young children, opening an umbrella, random movements or noises)

For cancellations under 24 hours, exceptions may be considered under extenuating circumstances. Class Participation Disclaimer Our classes focus on improving walking skills and are not suitable for dogs reactive to other dogs, animals, or people. For reactive dogs, please consider our reactivity classes or private sessions. Indemnity Clause By participating, you agree to release Noble Canine (Noble Life Pte Ltd) and its affiliates from any claims or damages arising from your participation. You assume all risks related to dog training and are responsible for any damages caused by your dog. Compliance with our trainers' rules is mandatory for the safety and benefit of all participants. Participants understand these terms ensure a safe, effective learning environment and agree to abide by them upon registration.
